Promotion the scream

"If only this wine, blood in the heart of the cup, would rescue me Tonight ..."

The second edition of the Fellowship is based on the poem The Cry by Habib Sharifi. This is the theme that was chosen to underline the commitment of the Bourse to exiles and artists who are the fruit of the fertile meanders of the greenness of History. A history that has taken them to shores far from their native land.

2nd edition

The 2023-2024 season is set in the colours of Iran, in homage to the political turbulence that has engulfed the country during the year 2022, and whose jolts are still spasmodically felt among the youth in search of emancipation. Faced with the rigidity of the theocratic regime currently in force in the Persian basin, it was decided to promote artists who have experienced and escaped the throes of a world with which they do not identify, who have escaped from a stifle that still today restricts the emergence of new talent due to religious criteria. In 2023, the custodians of bitter destinies, in the asphyxia of a sclerotic society, and of the uprooting to which they have been led to resign themselves, develop their individual projects federated in a coherent scenographic unit. This is why the winners are accompanied this year by a team dedicated to the final staging and professionalization of the project, bringing together specialists from the performing arts, ranging from theatre to film, including music and dance.

Once the project has been conceived, the show is produced in the studio and an album is released to mark and crystallize the product of the winners’ summer residency. The creations are thus preserved and disseminated to the general public, and the durability of the high quality works conceived during this first edition is ensured.
